1. Go to settings
2. Tap on phone
3. Tap call blocking & Identification
4. Enable Trucaller CallerID

By doing this whenever you'll get any spam call you'll see that it has written "SPAM" on the call and you can directly cut it. If any company is annoying you by calling you daily and it is not in the spam list then you can simply report that particular number and according to the number of reports on that particular phone number Truecaller will add it in the spam list.

Spam messages

Now, you know that how to identify spam calls but sometimes spam messages become more irritating than any spam call because they mix up your personal messages with the spam one and it becomes a bit of an inconvenience of finding the appropriate message. Now, you want the Truecaller to filter out the spam messages and the normal one then you have to follow these steps:-

1. Open settings
2. Tap on Messages
3. Tap Unknown & Spam
4. Tap Trucaller

By doing this your messages will be filtered out automatically by the Truecaller. If you want some local company's message to be in the spam list then the process is the same as of reporting a phone number.

Identifying any unknown number

Assuming a situation that you received an important call from an unknown number and you wanted to save that number but forgot to do so and afterward you got numerous unknown calls and now it strikes your heads that you forgot to save that particular number now it has become difficult to find that number what will you do?

Simply just copy any number or click on the share option in the call log and import that particular number in Truecaller and paste it in the search options available on the top of the screen in Home option after pasting you'll get the name of the owner of that number within 2 seconds.
